Field engineering

Field engineering

Onsite hands, technical follow-through and evidence of completion.

Operate with ComputexITy

An engineer on site when
you need one, with a clear record after.

Turn a remote requirement into a well-prepared onsite visit. Each engineer arrives with a defined task, the relevant information and a clear route to escalation.

What we can help with

  • Hardware break-fix and component replacement
  • Install, move, add and change activities
  • Remote hands for network and server teams
  • Site surveys and asset checks
  • Retail endpoint and peripheral support

What you can expect at handover

Every visit closes with proof of work, not just a ticket update. Expect a pack covering:

  • Engineer brief and access checklist
  • Visit updates and escalation record
  • Photos and asset details where permitted
  • Completion report and open actions

Set the right expectations

Engineer availability, travel, spares and access are confirmed for each location. Response targets are scope-specific.

Anatomy of a field visit. How a field visit runs, from brief to completion report. Animated illustration, 30 seconds, no sound.
Text description of the video
  1. The engineer is briefed. Task, site contact, access arrangements and escalation route are confirmed before travel.
  2. Arrival is confirmed. The engineer signs in with the named site contact and checks the equipment against the scope.
  3. Progress is shared. Updates go to the agreed contact. Exceptions are raised before anything outside scope is changed.
  4. Completion is evidenced. Tests are run and photos and asset details are captured where permitted.
  5. The visit is closed out. A completion report lists the work done, the evidence and any open actions.
